Pittsburgh, CA - Police are searching a landfill in  Pittsburg, CA for a Filipino man reported missing since last weekend. Investigators believe Frederick Sales, 35, may be the fifth victim in an apparent killing spree.

Frederick is the son of Ricardo Sales, 73, who was found dead Saturday in his Hercules home. Sales is believed to be a vicim of suspect Efren Valdemoro, 38, also the suspect in the deaths of three other women.

Two women, Segundina Allen and Macaria Smart, both in their sixties, are Filipino. Allen and Smart were found dead in Allen’s Vallejo home Wednesday.

Valdemoro is the common denominator–he was to known to all victims.

Valdemoro was shot and killed by police in an Asian Supermarket in Richmond after a high speed chase Tuesday.

The other fatality is Valdemoro’s girlfiend, Cindy Tran, whom police later found dead in the suspect’s car.
