Marvin Agustin opens Asian Pacific-themed restaurant in SF
Filipino actor turned restaurateur Marvin Agustin has officially opened his latest restaurant in San Francisco, marking his first undertaking in the international food scene.
On Instagram, Agustin shared pictures of the dishes offered at his new restaurant, Bao Down, located near San Francisco’s Union Square.
The restaurant is a collaboration between Agustin and his Canadian chef partners, who already have two locations in Vancouver.
According to its website, Bao Down offers a unique twist on Pacific Rim cuisines, as well as some Filipino dishes.
Bao Down adds to Agustin’s long roster of businesses — which include at least 50 restaurants in the Philippines.
