Hollywood, CA. - Television’s hottest stars crowded the red carpet at the 62nd Emmy Awards Sunday night.

Among those who sent fans screaming were the stars of television’s hottest show, “Glee.” While its newest cast member, Filipino singing sensation Charice, was not there, her co-stars were all praises for the singer.

“She’s great. Everyone knows she can sing, sing, sing.  And people forget that outside of her being able to sing, she’s an incredible performer.  She loves to dance. It’s a little funny talking to her because we talk about dance and she always shows me her moves,” said Harry Shum, Jr.

“She’s amazing! We’ve done a couple of scenes together.  She’s adorable. I don’t know how a big voice like that can come out of such a little girl,” added Jenna Ushkowitz.

Amber Riley also had a good impression of their Filipina co-star in Glee’s upcoming season.  “She’s so sweet! I love Charice. She has an amazing, amazing voice,” Riley told Balitang America.

During awards season, Filipina fashion designer Monique Lhullier always comes out a winner at the red carpet.

This year, Emmy Best Actress awardee Kyra Sedgwick wore a dress made by Monique.

The wife of “Glee” actor Mike O’Malley also wore a Lhuiller and praised the Filipina designer’s style. “She’s just so exquisitely talented.  She makes these wonderful dresses, it’s classic,” said O’Malley.

Lhuillier’s phenomenal success in Hollywood has inspired many other Filipino fashion designers to follow her stylish trail, among them Oliver Tolentino and Alexis Monsanto.
