Los Angeles, CA – The California Attorney General’s office shut down RN Learning Center, a Filipino-owned nursing school in Los Angeles for scamming students, reported KTLA last Wednesday.
Government officials said RN Learning Center misled students by claiming that they offered an accredited nursing program.
Authorities were notified that the school was unlicensed by students that applied to the state nursing board to become registered nurses.
KTLA in Los Angeles reported Wednesday that the center charged more than 300 students $20,000 each for tuition to obtain a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing in less than two years.
These students traveled to the Philippines for a month of clinical study in hospitals and prison.
RN Nursing Center’s owner, Junlou Enterina spoke to Balitang America yesterday, denying allegations that he misrepresented his company.
He claimed students were always informed that his center was merely a training and review center.
He said the name RN Nursing Center does not mean “Registered Nurse.” It simply stands for the name of both his parents, Restituto and Ningning.
Enterina said he is willing to give complaining students a full refund on their tuition.
RN has agreed to pay half a million dollars to former students.
With RN Nursing Center shut down, Enterina said he is going back to the Philippines this Monday.

Nakakahiya naman toh. You are making Filipino’s look bad in the nursing profession.
I enrolled in Kennedy Global Sch. Inc. last 2009-2010. After 1 year of study including 1 mo clinical in Philippines, I was totally disappointed. I am preparing for my review in NCLEX at the time when I learned that NV Board of Nursing doesn’t accept the LPN program. Looking back when I decide to enroll I talked to Mrs. Kennedy, she told me that there were already graduates fr. Kennedy Global who were able to had license and practiced. They made us believed that the reason why we had this hard time getting the license in NV is that it is very strict and changing the rules all the time. If that is so, why nobody fr. Kennedy had any license even by endorsement? It was all TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!. Everything was EXPERIMENTAL and FRAUD. Before they endorsed the Sch. in Vegas they should never give us false hopes. The kind of physical and emotional stress can’t be disregard because I was stolen the chance to have a better career. The effort and time are hard to regain back. Good for those who are benefited, poor for those who are victims of these circumstances. Stop the business if not all are fair and square!!!

to victims and all of us who sympathized: pray

Do you believe in Karma? Just wait Junlou, even using your parent’s name to scam other people. kung ang lakas ng loob na man loko dito sa America yan, what about in the Philippines? Someone should check his business in the Philippines, too. How can you sleep every night? What about your own family?
This guy should be tied up to the tree naked with fire ants on it and let it stay there for couple of hours then will see if he will lied again to all these students that he took advantage. Lord forgive him for he don’t know what he’s doing and may blessing will pour like rain to all the students that became a victim of this Judas Iscariot.
this guy should be jailed.
This guy pretends to be very religious as part of seventh day adventist organization ..he should go to hell for everything that he did. He’s a big time liar!!
The victims, those 300 individuals should file a lawsuit against this man for misleading them. They should not be satisfied with just he return of their monies. He needs to answer to his wrongdoing. He has tainted the Filipino community and cheated his own people.
Why would one pay $20,000 just for training and for review? Parang narinig ko na yan sa Pilipinas. Scammers like them entice people of a bachelor degree and a diploma but they are not accredited at all. They were merely a “training and review centers.” kawawa naman ang mga taong naloko. Tapos lolokohin Lang pala.
This guy Junlou should go to jail for scamming a lot of hard working students to obtain accredited diploma and falls into this scam. How stupid could this person naming his learning center after his parents initial RN very deceiving.
