LAS VEGAS, NV — Manny Pacquiao wasn’t the only Filipino who put on a show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena last Saturday. In front of a sold out crowd of 16,500, and millions of people watching at home, 22-year-old Ramiele Malubay sang the Star Spangled Banner with perfection.

Fans in the stands gave the Filipino-American singer a standing ovation and praise for her rendition of the U.S. national anthem. Ramiele described her performance before the biggest fight of the year as scary.
